After leaving the group, Svetlana created her own group “Surganova and Orchestra”, where she had the opportunity to experiment with the musical orientation of the compositions.
7. Nastya Poleva
In 1981, as a student at the Sverdlovsk Architectural Institute, Nastya took the stage as the vocalist of the hard rock band Track. Two years later, the groups broke up and the girl began to perform solo.
In 1985, Anastasia became part of the legendary “Nautilus Pompilius”. And a year later she performed at the Sverdlovsk Rock Festival with her own program, created mainly on the basis of the poetry of Ilya Kormiltsev. Her new group was called “Nastya”.
6. Helavisa
The creative activity of Helavisa began in her student years. At that time, she took the creative pseudonym “Heledis”. The performer sang original songs and performed compositions based on verses by Gumilyov, Kipling and Burns.
In 1998, Natalia first appeared on the stage under a new name - Helavisa. This happened just at the moment when the girl began to collaborate with the musical group “Til Uhlenpiegel”.
A year later, on the basis of the disintegrated “Tiel Ulenspiegel” a new group appeared, which was called “Mill”. Four years later, the group released their debut album, “The Road of Sleep,” which included the songs “Highlander,” “Lord Gregory,” “North” and other tracks performed by Helavisa.
Currently, “Mill” is considered one of the most famous rock bands performing folk songs.
5. Yanka Diaghilev
Yanka Diaghileva is a Soviet rock singer, author of her own songs, a member of such popular at that time musical groups, such as “Civil Defense”, “Great October” and others.
This girl lived a very short life, but thanks to her rich creative activity, she was able to become one of the brightest representatives of the underground of the late 1980s and forever write her name in the history of the domestic rock movement.
At the very beginning of her creative biography, the girl began to give apartment concerts, she performed her own compositions. Due to its originality, Janka quickly became popular in her musical environment. At this time, her unauthorized albums began to appear.
During her lifetime, the singer was practically not mentioned in the official media. She did not like giving interviews, and also refused the offer of “Melody” to release the disc. Diaghilev never aspired to all-Union fame, therefore she did nothing to “promote her name and songs.
